Harrah’s is a massive name in the casino world. Luxurious properties in Atlantic City and Las Vegas are well-known, and there are a number of other casinos which bear the Harrah’s name. The company traces its roots all the way back to 1937, so it’s safe to say they know what they’re doing.

Harrah’s is also a player in the world of online gaming. It’s under the same umbrella as Caesars, but users will find a standalone site that has lots to offer as well. Let’s take a closer look at what Harrah’s brings to the table for consumers.

Harrah's Sign-up Process

When signing up for a new site, it’s always nice to find a process that’s free of hassles. That's the case at Harrah’s. The sign-up process is a snap and doesn’t take much time at all.

At the top of the main screen, you’ll find a link to open an account.

After clicking on that, you’ll be taken to the registration page so you can start the two-step process.

After you get done with that, it’s time to get a little personal. You’ll need to tell Harrah’s where you live and your social security number. Don’t let that make you feel uneasy. It’s all standard operating procedure for online casinos.

After entering that information, you’re all set. In just seconds, you’ll receive confirmation that lets you know you’re good to go.

Please note: if there’s any trouble verifying your information, then you may be asked to provide additional documentation. Again, this is all standard stuff and nothing to sweat.

We found the sign-up process at Harrah’s to be easy, but we do have a bone to pick. Registration happens in a separate pop-up window. Most other sites are much smoother. You also have to verify the sign-up process via email. We rate the process 3.5 out of five stars for those reasons.

Harrah's Deposit Options and Fees

Once your account is all set up, you’ll have the option to add funds right away. If you’d rather wait a little while, you’ll find a big cashier button at the top of the screen. Clicking on that will show you all of the options you can use.

After you rack up some fat stacks of cash, you’ll find that there are a couple of withdrawal options too.

For your convenience, we have listed out all of the options in the table down below.

Harrah's Funding OptionDepositWithdrawCost
ACH (e-check)✅ Yes✅ YesFree
Online Bank Transfer✅ Yes✅ YesFree
Mastercard✅ Yes❌ NoFree
Visa✅ Yes❌ NoFree
Neteller (by Visa)✅ Yes❌ NoFree
Pay Near Me✅ Yes❌ NoFree
PayPal✅ Yes✅ YesFree
Caesars Casino Cage✅ Yes✅ YesFree

You’ll find standard options such as bank transfers and credit cards, as well as PayPal and Neteller. If you like to handle transactions in person, you can do so by visiting the casino cage at Caesars in Atlantic City.

It’s important to note that not all deposit methods are available for withdrawal purposes too. Overall, there’s a good assortment of funding options at Harrah’s. We rate it as 4.5 out of five stars.

Sports Betting

Harrah's does not offer sports betting. Those in the market for that kind of thing aren’t out of luck. Harrah’s is in the same family as Caesar’s, and there’s a direct link to that sportsbook on their site.

It’s a separate sign-up process, so that’s kind of a pain. However, if you want to keep your sports betting action in the same family, you do have an option.

Live Dealer Games

In the market for live dealer games? That’s a swing and a miss at Harrah’s as well. In fairness, there are only a handful of operators in NJ who offer live dealer games online. Harrah’s just isn’t one of them.

Table Games

Harrah’s does offer a standard selection of table games. New users will find the games they know and love such as roulette and blackjack.

If you would prefer to see the stakes before jumping into the game, you can click over to list view and see what’s what.

Outside of video and three-card, poker players are out of luck. Again, it’s not totally a lost cause. You’ll find other places to play within the Harrah’s family.

Harrah’s has the bases covered on standard table games, but we walked away pretty underwhelmed.

Harrah’s Slots

Slot machines are an area in which Harrah’s does a pretty solid job. There are over 200 games available, which is less than many of the other major online casinos. That’s a little disappointing, but we did find a nice selection of games.

Included on the list are a number of progressive slots. Here’s where you can hit the big bucks at Harrah’s.

  • Kiss of the Pharaohs
  • Irish Riches
  • Gods of Gold
  • Ultimate Universe
  • Saved by the Bells
  • Pirates Millions
  • Santa’s Super Slot
  • Dino Jackpot Stampede
  • Steampunk Nation
  • Under Construction
  • The Royals
  • Jack’s Pot
  • Oktoberfest Spins
  • Steampunk Nation
  • Diamonds Delight
  • Snack Time
  • Valentine’s Victory

Two other notes on slot games - one positive and one negative. We like our bad news first. The navigation for slot games could use some work.

Yep. That’s a slide bar to help you get around. It’s usable, but not exactly the most enjoyable experience. On the plus side, there are ways to sort the games by the number of lines. One thing we really loved is that hovering over the games themselves brings up more information on the side.

The slot selection at Harrah’s is pretty good, and game play itself seems smooth. We’d just like to see some more offerings and an easier way to find what you are looking for.

Mobile Betting

Yes, Harrah’s does have mobile apps available for both iOS and Android. They’re easy to find too. From the main screen, there’s a link for mobile games.

Once you click on that, you’ll be brought to a page which has more information.

In our test run, the apps were about the same as what we found online. The gaming experience was smooth, and we were able to find our way around without too much trouble.

Customer Support

Questions are going to come up. When that happens, you want answers. Support is available from the main screen once you have logged into Harrah’s. Just look for the question mark next to the deposit button.

After clicking on that, a whole new window pops up for the support center.

There’s some decent stuff in there, but what do you do if you want to talk to someone? After scrolling down the page, you’ll find what to do.

Unfortunately, only one option pops up.

We didn’t find any live chat support or a dedicated customer support line. We were able to find a phone number and address after searching online. Customers shouldn’t have to do that. Harrah’s doesn’t get high marks for support options.

A dedicated education section is always a plus for online casinos. Both new and experienced players can benefit from a little clarity on the rules from time to time. As such, it’s nice to have that info right at hand.

On Harrah’s, all we could find was some basic information under the help section.

Clicking on ‘Play blackjack’ brings up some generic info.

That’s it. We’ll see if Harrah’s steps its game up on education moving forward.

The Bottom Line

Harrah’s is a huge name in the world of brick-and-mortar casinos. As a result, we were optimistic about the company’s online and mobile offerings. Unfortunately, we walked away a bit disappointed.

There’s a decent selection of slot and table games, but no live dealer games or sportsbook. The navigation is a bit clunky, and the site is lacking in education and support options.

Harrah’s is under the same umbrella as Caesars, which does a fine job with its online offerings. We’ll wait and see if they step their game up to live up to those standards in the future.
